The Path To Development Through Rhythm and Song
At Playnotes, our mission is to utilize the transformative power of music, expertly developed by music therapists, to nurture and celebrate each child’s unique abilities and strengths. We are dedicated to creating a strong musical foundation that empowers children to embark on a lifelong journey with music. Through our innovative and playful musical environment, we provide opportunities for comprehensive developmental growth, fostering skills that extend far beyond musical proficiency. Our programs are designed to inspire creativity, confidence, and a love for music, ensuring every child thrives in a supportive and enriching musical experience."

Creating a Great Music Experience Together
-
Group Size & Safety
We aim for 25 children or fewer per group, always in alignment with your school’s policies and safety guidelines.
-
Space Needs and Location Flexibility
We appreciate a space that allows children to sit on the floor, move safely, and dance, supporting active participation throughout the session. Our program is fully mobile — we can remain in one room or travel from classroom to classroom, depending on what works best for your site.
-
Session Length & Scheduling
Sessions are typically 30 minutes, with flexibility to work within your school’s daily schedule and routines.
-
Sound Sensitivity
Some instruments (especially drums) can be louder in volume. Please let us know if any children are sensitive to sound so we can make adjustments.
-
Staff Involvement
Teachers and staff are welcome to participate in or observe sessions. Music sessions provide a meaningful opportunity to connect with your little learners while staff support engagement and help address challenging behaviors as they arise.
-
Photos & Documentation
You are more than welcome to take photos or videos during sessions in accordance with your school’s media and privacy policies.

Music Session Schedule
To help keep everyone informed and aligned, we’ve created a shared schedule document for each school.
This document includes:
-
A clear view of where we are in the visit series at any given time
-
Ongoing updates as sessions are completed or adjusted
The schedule is a live document, so it will always reflect the most up-to-date information for your center.
